MAISON OBJET REPORT: GLOSTER TEAK OUTDOOR FURNITURE FOR 2015
Maison Objet Report – Gloster teak outdoor furniture for 2015
Update 21/01/15 – new collections now available online – see our blog!
Gloster’s stand at Maison Objet Paris was certainly proving a hit for those who needed a glamorous rest stop! We detail their new additions for 2015 here.
Bay Easy Chair
Created by the prolific designer Henrik Pedersen and inspired by the feeling of sitting by the bay. With its laid back shape mimicking a deck chair, the Bay chair is aiming to create a relaxed state of mind. A matching footstool will also be available for complete relaxation.
Tray modular outdoor lounge sets
The new outdoor lounge set from Gloster – an ideal place to hang out and chill out. The concept of the frame doubling as armrest or tray makes this an all-purpose, welcoming sofa. Using a more rustic feel for the teak contrasted by the aluminium frame creates a fresh look.
Bell Teak and Aluminium Side Table
A smart, symmetrical design which is of course inspired by two bells. With its hard wearing, high quality teak top coupled with its fluid design, this is a perfect compliment to any of Gloster’s outdoor seating ranges. All teak elements feature a buffed finish.
The Cradle was a massive crowd puller as you can see. Although open and exposed to the elements, it creates a feeling of luxury, your own private oasis with a sense of enclosure. Luxurious for one, but big enough for two. This, combined with the natural backrest and the option for adjustable sun shading, makes for a truly comfortable experience.

Whirl Outdoor Table
Gloster Whirl Table – the perfect dining table to create a place where you can come together and communicate freely. Manufactured in tough stainless steel and high quality teak, an instant classic which can be paired with any of the Gloster dining chairs.
The Split dining table is bang on trend with it’s rustic, organic feel due to the unevenly cut top made up of wide teak planks. With it’s tapering style and inverted ‘Y’ shape, the legs create a light and subtle connection to the ground.
A seriously comfortable outdoor easy chair reminiscent of two shells connecting. Offered in two colour ways, the Bepal is sure to become an instant hit.
With its cross-rail and legs shaped like pieces cut from a block, the teak topped Carver dining table is super sturdy, almost appearing carved from stone or wood. A practical and solid dining table.
Sway Teak Chair
A great combination of a strong frame and flexible sling seat. The material provides a soft landing – which inspired the name, coming from swaying grass. Also offered as a cantilever version instead of the teak frame.
This tough little chair made from teak and aluminium is softened by the curved shape of it’s frame which makes it comfortable and welcoming. A perfect mix of weatherproof and durable but with a delicate design.
Designed by Povl Eskildsen
An angular frame is reinforced by a Maze-like weave of soft outdoor straps in the Maze easy chair. A stunning look which is also exceptionally comfortable – taking conventional weave to the next level in design.
The practical Asta chair brings the inside outside in a mix of materials and shapes. With its refined aluminium frame which has a hard wearing soft touch powder coated finish and its curved backrest, the chair has a striking but welcoming look. Designed by Edi & Paolo Ciani
Available to buy on Uber, Grid is a totally flexible modular outdoor seating system with which you can create your prefect combination of elements. Designed by Henrik Pedersen
