DECOREX TREND ROUND-UP: GREENERY

Pantone’s colour of the year, ‘Greenery’, has been prevalent across interiors throughout 2017 and at Decorex International we discovered that it is still the most coveted hue of the season.
Deep, sage greens and soft mint shades were used across many of the luxury brands shown at Decorex this year, whether the scheme was in the form of dark opulence, art deco or pretty pastels.

One of our favourite combinations of the ‘Greenery’ trend pairs deep greens with monochrome and dramatic metallic accents. The colour scheme takes inspiration from the glamorous art deco era combined with mid-century modern shapes and leafy jungle prints.

A sophisticated neutral space can easily be updated with this versatile colour. Make a bold statement with a green sofa in a luxurious velvet or incorporate the hue into decorative accessories. ‘Greenery’ works beautifully with brass and copper tones and adds a pop of colour into a living room or bedroom.
