Here’s some of the items on display which made them award winners:
Munna and Ginger & Jagger
By now you have probably heard of the great works of Portuguese brands Ginger & Jagger and Munna but if not, you may recognise the alluring colours, rich bronze materials and sweeping curvaceous lines of the complementary brands furniture. Pops of complimentary colours can also be seen flaunted upon soft velvets with contrasts to the geometric and rigid shapes of nature inspired products such as the rock side table.
Award Winners of the Design World
The young and innovative company won Best International stand at Decorex this year. This followed their previous win at the International Design and Architecture Awards, for the seductive Hughes Sofa, judged by experts in the industry. They now look forward to showcasing bold and loose designs (like the cane inspired Vine Mirror by Ginger & Jagger) at the Biennal Interieur 2014, in Belgium for the first time.
Sumptuous Statement Designs
Claiming the essence of mother nature and fresh feminine sensuality, the partnering brands fuse organic motifs with glamorous materials to create a collection comprised of lavish statement furniture pieces. Transport yourself to the outdoors – wood grain elements with textured strips of metal comparable to tree bark, creates branch-like structures that scale table legs and ornate handles.
The art of beautifully refined aesthetic
Become mesmerised with the tactile fabrics the flatter the contours of the Munna Babe armchair. The exaggerated form – clung to the exterior of the classic timeless piece – now embodies a daring character whilst evoking a spontaneous and glamorous spirit. Reminiscent of another era, Munna utilises brass tipped legs, twills and velvets that captures your attention.
